The Kent City football team has dominated the line of scrimmage so far this season on its way to a 5-0 record.
The Eagles took their vaunted rushing attack to a record-setting level on Friday night, however, as they rushed for 355 yards and seven touchdowns in a 67-0 win over Lakeview in Central State Activities Association action.
The 67 points scored set a new school record for points in a single game.
Levi Thompson led the way for Kent City with 113 yards rushing and one touchdown on just four carries, while Cooper Stinson added 72 yards and two touchdowns on four carries. Andre Meade was 3-for-3 passing for 105 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown pass to Harrison Smith, and added seven carries for 36 yards and one score.
