DUBLIN, Ireland (WKBN) - The Pittsburgh Steelers elevated running back Trey Sermon from the practice squad to the 53-man roster for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The game will be played at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

Sermon will revert back to the practice squad after the game.

Sermon was signed by Pittsburgh following a tryout during the Steelers’ rookie minicamp this year.

He has appeared in 42 games in four seasons with the Colts, Eagles and 49ers.

Sermon has carried the ball 134 times for 505 yards and three touchdowns during his career. In addition to Indianapolis (2023-24), he spent the 2022 season with the Philadelphia Eagles and 2021 with the San Francisco 49ers.
