PITTSBURGH — Louisville football kicker Nick Keller had the rare privilege of not only making school history last Saturday with his 57-yard field goal but doing it in front of the former record holder.
Brock Travelstead was at the game last week when Keller's kick broke his previous record, a 56-yard field goal against Notre Dame last year. Travelstead is now an assistant special teams coach at Tennessee Tech and used the week off to check out his alma mater.
Keller and the rest of Louisville's special teams unit combined for 22 points in the Cardinals' 40-17 win over Bowling Green . Fellow kicker Cooper Ranvier made history by becoming the first kicker to make his first six field-goal attempts, three of which came against Bowling Green. He also has gone 4 for 4 on PATs. Caul
