ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen wore a special cap designed by a 12-year-old cancer patient during the team’s Week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints.

This week's cap belongs to Charlie, who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma — a type of bone cancer — in fall 2024.

Charlie received initial treatment in Florida, including surgery on his left arm to remove the infected bone. In April, Charlie and his family moved back to Buffalo, where he continues chemotherapy and radiation at Oishei Children’s Hospital.

A devoted Bills fan, Charlie says Allen is his favorite player.

"Josh Allen is my favorite because he’s just the best," Charlie said. "It’s a big honor for Josh to wear my cap, and I’m excited for it."
