OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Alzheimer’s disease impacts thousands of lives, and today, over 100 people gathered in Ocala for a cause to stop and end Alzheimer’s.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s has been a tradition since 1989 and remains the largest fundraiser in the country for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
However, the annual Alzheimer’s Walk is more than just a fundraising event, it is a show of hope.

Dawn Mark, a woman living with Alzheimer’s, shared her experience with the disease. “It is such a misconception of what we look like,” she said.
Mark knows the impacts of Alzheimer’s firsthand.
“It was my biggest fear; it was quite frightening and quite a rocky road, and I have done lots of research and have been
