DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Learning is a life long process on the College of Saint Scholastica Campus, sure the college students do it but so do the seniors at the living facilities.
When the Benedictines came to Duluth in 1892, they started St. Mary’s Hospital and the College of Saint Scholastica.
Learning opportunities on that campus also spill over to the nearby Benedictine Living Communities like the Westwood Home.
“We put together about five events a year, they’re open to the public and the format is lunch and learn and that’s really worked well for us.” said Kerry Wedin who takes care of public relations for the BLC Foundation.
