One dead after car slams into pole in early morning Allentown crash

Allentown man killed after car slams into utility pole on Union Boulevard

Allentown, PA – A 25-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning after his car veered off Union Boulevard and slammed into a utility pole, according to Allentown Police.

First responders were dispatched to the 1700 block of Union Boulevard near Quebec Street at approximately 5:05 a.m. after reports of a serious crash. Upon arrival, police, fire, and EMS personnel found a vehicle with severe damage and a single male driver who had suffered critical injuries.

The man, a resident of Allentown, received immediate emergency medical attention at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
