LSU freshman offensive lineman Carius Curne is starting at right tackle against Ole Miss in place of redshirt freshman Weston Davis after Davis, "was nicked up," during pregame warmups, according to the LSU radio network.

Curne came into this weekend as the Tigers' backup after their sixth offensive lineman, redshirt sophomore DJ Chester, was suspended for the first half after he was penalized for targeting in the second half last weekend against Southeastern Louisiana.

Davis had started for LSU in each of its opening four contests. He had surrendered 14 quarterback pressures entering this weekend, according to Pro Football Focus.
