ALAIEDON TWP. — A 61-year-old Williamston man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The man was driving westbound on Interstate 96 near Okemos Road when he went off the roadway near the exit and into a ditch at about 9 a.m., the Ingham County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

The man, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the release.
