NEW YORK (PIX11) -- These New York City Starbucks will be closing immediately.

These closures seemingly stem from the coffee giant's announcement on Thursday that it would lay off hundreds of workers and close hundreds of stores. Baristas and affected employees have taken to Reddit to say their store is closing.

A list of hundreds of stores throughout the United States can be found here. More than two dozen Starbucks in New York City have been listed.

PIX11 News reached out to Starbucks to verify the accuracy of the list, but they have not responded.
