WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) - A 30-year-old man was pulled from the water at East Mountain Reservoir in Waterbury on Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:21 p.m., the fire department responded to the park for a reported water rescue.
Crews used a boat and a sonar device, called the Aqua Eye, to find the victim beneath the water.
According to the fire department, the man was pulled from the water by the dive team around 5:33 p.m.
Captain Partridge confirmed the victim was unresponsive and hospitalized.
Authorities did not clarify his status.
Firefighters said the family was being interviewed by the Waterbury Police Department.
