Julia McMenamin delivered when it mattered most in Marple Newtown’s 3-2 win over West Chester Rustin in a nonleague field hockey game Saturday.

The junior forward buried the game-winner in overtime and was involved early, setting up Gina DiRocco for the Tigers’ opening strike.

Izzy Chirico also scored for the Tigers. Amelia Drake finished with 15 saves in goal.

In other nonleague action

Springfield 4, West Chester Henderson 2 >> Macy Gougler powered the Cougars’ attack with a hat trick and an assist. Evelyn Dunn chipped in a goal and a helper, while Mia Wainwright excelled on defense.

Agnes Irwin 6, Radnor 0 >> Gabby Lee and Lucy Jones led the way for the Owls with two goals and one assist apiece. Anna Rufo also scored, while goalie Lily Hark (one save) earned the shutout.
