LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A teen is recovering after being shot in the hip early Saturday morning.

The Lansing Police Department (LPD) said that they were dispatched to the area of Miller and Grovenburg Rd, around 9:45 a.m., for shots being fired.

After arriving at the scene, officers found nothing. A short time later, officers received a call from a local hospital that a 17-year-old male had shown up with a gunshot wound to the hip.

Lansing police said no arrests have been made in the shooting and that the investigation remains ongoing.
