FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. – The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has reported success with their increased patrols at Juniper Dunes.
Earlier this month, the sheriff's office announced plans to conduct extra patrols in the area.
On Saturday morning, they revealed the results of these efforts, stating that a driver was arrested for going more than twice the speed limit with an open beer between their legs.
Deputies emphasized the importance of driving safely, avoiding drinking and driving, and cleaning up trash when leaving the dunes.
The increased patrols aim to enhance safety and preserve the natural beauty of Juniper Dunes.
