ATHENS, Ga. ( WBRC ) - After the Bulldogs pulled back from a 14-point first quarter deficit, Alabama held on for a three-point win over Georgia Saturday night in Athens.

1st Quarter

The Alabama defense forced Georgia to a quick three-and-out to start the game.

Alabama converted three times on third down, including a 10-yard scramble by quarterback Ty Simpson, on their way to the endzone.

On third-and-six from the Georgia six-yard-line, Simpson found Germie Bernard crossing the endzone to get on the board.

The first quarter came to a close with Alabama driving the ball in the redzone again after forcing Georgia to punt.

2nd Quarter

The quarter started with Alabama facing second-and-six from the Georgia 19-yard-line.
