Polish MMA fighter Marcin Szoltysik left onlookers stunned as he voluntarily submitted one second into his professional debut.

Szoltysik (0-1) was set to duke it out with Jacek Kujtowski (4-2) in a heavyweight bout on the Babilon MMA 54 bill in Grudziadz, Poland on Saturday night.

However, he immediately dropped to one knee and tapped out when the opening bell sounded.

Kujtowski threw his hand up in disbelief and turned away before the referee called upon the pair to engage.

As he did, Szoltysik dropped down once again and tapped the canvas.
