OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left three minors injured.
According to investigators, a reckless driver was speeding near 24th and Vane Street. Officers tried to catch up with the car, but it sped up.
The speeding car then collided with a stolen vehicle that ran a stop sign.
Sergeant Jesse Godden said, "Alcohol is believed to be involved with both drivers. We're working to determine the extent of impairment and will pursue charges accordingly."
The minors in the stolen car were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor to severe. One person is in custody, and the three others involved are expected to face charges.
