LORDSTOWN, Ohio - Part of the General Motors complex in Lordstown will be designated for AI server manufacturing and a data center.
Paul Hugenberg, owner of Pelican3 Consulting, a tech advisory company, stated that this development is shaping up to be a significant venture.
"Softbank, Oracle, OpenAI, the Stargate Project is an international, heavily backed, large investment in AI. So the [Mahoning] Valley being a part of that is a very significant move," Hugenberg said.
The data center will play a crucial role in generating artificial intelligence. It will store large datasets that will be used to process contextual questions posed by AI within the Lordstown facility.
The Lordstown servers will be one of many facilities across the United States contributing to this effort.
