HARRODSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Harrodsburg Police Department announced on Sunday that two people were hit by a vehicle that ran a red light and drove away.
Harrodsburg police wrote on Facebook around 3 a.m. on Sept. 28 that it happened in the area of Lexington Street and College Street.
Investigators said the driver of the vehicle ran a red light, striking two pedestrians at the crosswalk. The two victims were transported to a local trauma center for injuries received from being hit, and their conditions have not been released.
Officials with the Harrodsburg Police Department asked anyone who may have been in the area to witness the hit-and-run to reach out with information by calling (859) 734-5120.
