IDAHO, USA — WHEN/WHAT:
After a few midday spot showers and storms, look for widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms to fire up across eastern Oregon and southwest Idaho as early as 8 p.m. in southwest Idaho. Moderate rain and gusty winds (up to 25 mph) are expected with the frontal passage, with some areas seeing locally heavy downpours and late-night thunderstorms as the front passes through. It's possible that some valley locations could see over 1/3" of rain by Tuesday morning, with nearly 1" possible in isolated mountain locations.
·Most of the impactful active weather wraps up by sunrise Tuesday in the Treasure Valley , though showers and occasional thunder may linger in the Magic Valley and central mountain zones through Tuesday afternoon/evening.
