RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Loving Thunder in Rio Rancho has offered equine therapy for nearly 20 years, bringing comfort and healing to both riders and horses alike. "We know that horses can change lives," explained Twuana Raupp, Co-Founder of Loving Thunder. She and her husband Mike, call the horses the real therapists for the day.

"I am giving them the horse to ride, and I let this guy be the therapist and the teacher," shared Mike Raupp, Co-Founder of Loving Thunder. The couple started this operation 18 years ago after seeing the benefits that equine therapy had for their daughter with special needs, hoping to help other families looking for support.
