ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith, a 1991 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, was inducted into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Also inducted was Kimberly B. Gatling, an intellectual property attorney and 1996 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University. She now serves on the school’s board of trustees.

The Hall of Fame added 15 new members during a luncheon ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The event coincided with the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation’s 40th anniversary.
