Well, this is sweet: Jimmy Tatro — that dude from American Vandal , Home Economics , Modern Family , You’re Cordially Invited , and the forthcoming Screan 7 — is now engaged to Zoey Deutch. Deutch is the daughter of Lea Thompson and Howard Deutch, best known for directing ’80s movies like Some Kind of Wonderful (starring Thompson) and John Hughes’ Pretty in Pink . For the record, though Thompson starred in Howard the Duck, the film otherwise has no relationship Howard Deutch.

Actually, and with all due respect to Glen Powell, Zoey should’ve been the breakout star of Netflix’s charming romcom Set It Up , and if the world were more just, Deutch would be the Meg Ryan of the 2020s.
