BOSTON —

A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle early Monday in Boston's Hyde Park.

Police said a man was crossing Hyde Park Avenue at 12:24 a.m. when he was struck by the vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
