Hurricane Humberto remains a powerful and dangerous storm on Monday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

As of the 5 a.m. advisory, the NHC said Humberto is moving NW at about 14 mph and is located about 375 miles south-southwest of Bermuda.

Humberto has maximum sustained winds of nearly 130 mph, with higher gusts and a minimum central pressure of 933 mb.

The hurricane is forecast to travel northwest before gradually turning to travel more northward before turning east-northeast late Tuesday or Wednesday.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Bermuda.

Swells

Swells generated by Humberto will continue to affect portions of the northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Bermuda through much of this week.
