Manteo man charged after firing weapon near baseball practice pleads guilty

Aulander Liverman, the Manteo resident charged after firing a weapon near children at a baseball practice at Wescott Park on June 23, has pleaded guilty of going armed to the terror of people and discharging a weapon within city limits, according to the office of First Judicial District DA Jeff Cruden.
With the Sept. 25 plea before District Court Judge Jeffrey Moreland, Liverman received 120 days that was suspended for 12 months of supervised probation and the surrender of all his firearms.
