LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A 15-year-old was arrested early Monday morning, September 29, in connection with a school threat investigation in Lyon County, Kentucky.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, they learned of threats made to the Lyon County High School on Sunday evening.

The sheriff’s office said a 15-year-old male student was arrested after a multi-hour investigation into one alarming statement and one threatening statement to fellow students during a lockdown at the high school on Friday.

School administrators and the sheriff’s office were contacted by family members of juveniles who reportedly overheard statements.

Investigators said the suspect is charged with terroristic threatening-second degree and has been booked into the McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention
