NORMAN — Mikhail McCreary, a four-star cornerback recruit in the class of 2027, announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Monday morning.
McCreary chose the Sooners over Texas Tech, Texas A&M and SMU.
The 6-foot, 170-pound defender hails from Claudia Taylor Johnson High School in San Antonio, Texas and is ranked the No. 28 player in Texas for the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite ratings.
The 247Sports Composite also has McCreary as the No. 18 cornerback and No. 190 overall player in the country for the class of 2027.
McCreary racked up 46 tackles and three interceptions as a high school sophomore. He also runs track and recorded a top time of 11.38 second in the 100 meter dash.
