Drivers across Northampton County should prepare for traffic delays and lane restrictions as PennDOT began extensive road maintenance work on Monday, affecting 15 locations through the week.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will conduct paving, crack sealing, and general maintenance projects across multiple municipalities, with most work scheduled during daytime hours between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lane restrictions with flagging will be in effect at most locations, and motorists should expect delays.

The most significant disruption will occur in Walnutport Borough, where a ramp closure on Route 145/Best Avenue between Main Street and Lehigh Gap Street will remain in effect from Monday through Friday.

All other projects involve lane restrictions rather than full closures.
