BEDFORD, Ohio (WOIO) - Bedford firefighters confirm two people were shot Monday morning near the Central Primary School.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Washington Street near Solon Road.

According to Bedford firefighters, two adults were shot.

They are now in critical condition at MetroHealth in Cleveland.

Firefighters say police made an arrest nearby.

The suspect was also injured and was taken to a different hospital.
