COLUMBUS, Ohio — More than two dozen central Ohio men were arrested and charged as part of a weeklong, statewide human trafficking crackdown.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced the results of “Operation Next Door” on Monday.
Agencies from across the state arrested a total of 135 people. Of those, 32 people were arrested on felony charges, including promoting prostitution, compelling prostitution, seeking sex with a minor and drug possession and/or trafficking. The remaining people were seeking to buy sex and they were arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution or solicitation, according to Yost.
The following Columbus residents were arrested after Yost said they tried to seek sex with minors:
