The postseason is right around the corner in boys soccer, and the brackets are out.

For teams in the Jackson area, here is what the postseason will bring when it kicks off next week.

District play will be October 8-18, with regionals October 21-25 and the finals at Grand Ledge on November 1.

DIVISION 2

Western, Northwest and Jackson are in a division which will crown its champion at Mason.

The Panthers and Vikings face off in the first round, with the winner taking on Chelsea or Charlotte. On the other side of the bracket the Mounties face Dexter. That winner moves on to face either Mason or Pinckney.

DIVISION 3

In a district at Hillsdale, the host Hornets face Michigan Center in the opening round.
