CLARKSON, Ky. – A Grayson County teen was flown after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.

According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Anneta Fire Department and EMS responded to the crash at about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of Peonia Road.

K105 reports that upon arrival, first responders located a Jeep Cherokee and believed the passenger side wheels had temporarily left the road while traveling westbound.

The driver then overcorrected as the vehicle crossed both lanes of traffic before hitting an embankment, authorities say.

The vehicle hit a fence pole and appeared to flip “at least once” before it went down an embankment.
