The Astros season came to an end Sunday as Houston missed the playoffs by one game with an 87-75 record (the best record of any team that did not make the postseason). For the first time 2016, Jose Altuve and company will not be part of the MLB playoffs.

This year, according to Spotrac, the Astros had 26 injured players — that's the size of an entire roster. And these weren't brief injuries. They averaged 92.5 days on the injured list for players like Yordan Alvarez, Jeremy Pena, Isaac Paredes, and Jake Myers.
