Survey says Indio golf shines with public access, affordability and weather

Of all the golf-rich cities in the Coachella Valley, is Indio at the top of the list?

For the average golfer the answer is probably no. But one new survey not only has Indio as the best city for golf in the Coachella Valley, but the fourth-best city in the entire country. Using metrics like overall playability, course availability, accommodation costs and weather, the golf-centric The Action Network put together a list of the best and worst golf cities in the country. And there, fourth overall and the only city in the desert even in the top 20, is Indio.
