FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 53-year-old Texas man is wanted in Allen County after he allegedly began assaulting a girl when she was 5 years old.

Tracy Lamont Lawrence is accused of molesting the girl two to three times a week until she was about 9 years old, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by 21Investigates. His three child molesting charges carry a potential prison sentence of up to 48 years.

The alleged abuse in Lawrence’s newest case went on between 2012 and 2015.

He was previously convicted of child molesting in Allen County in 2002. Lawrence has also been convicted of failing to register as a sex offender three times.

According to the Texas Sex Offender Registry, Lawerence is currently living in Austin, Texas.
