BANGOR -- Students at Eastern Maine Community College will be able to get a different kind of hands on experience thanks to a new partnership.

The school is teaming up with the Bangor International Airport with an internship program for students in criminal justice so they can get a first hand look at airport security and compliance.

They will be paired directly with the teams in charge of those jobs at BIA.

The airports director says the collaborative effort supports the development of the future workforce in the Bangor community and they are delighted to build opportunities at BIA.
