Edinburgh gangster, Ross McGill, and his crew of feared mobsters were banged up in a hell hole jail in the desert after being arrested in Dubai.

McGill, 31, Lyons family boss Steven Lyons, 44, drugs hood Stephen 'Jimmy' Jamieson, 42, and Lyons clan associate Steven Larwood were arrested during a crackdown on organised crime earlier this month.

The hoods, who had been living a life of luxury in the desert state, were released from jail on Saturday, September 27, after 12 days behind bars.

An underworld source told The Daily Record the gangsters were blindfolded, transported to a filthy 'black site' prison, each held in cells with 40 other inmates and forced to eat on the ground with their hands.
