PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo will return for his 10th season with the organization in 2026, the team confirmed, after missing the MLB postseason for a second year in a row.
Arizona’s Family Sports Director Mark McClune reported the news on Monday morning as players cleared out their clubhouse lockers.
The decision to retain Lovullo comes after the D-backs ended their season on a five-game losing streak in San Diego on Sunday, with an overall record of 80-82. The team was plagued with injuries this year, particularly at the pitching position, after ace Corbin Burnes and relievers Justin Martinez and A.J. Puk all had season-ending elbow surgery.
