MARTINSBURG - Martinsburg has found its stride on the football field, and the result is a current three-game winning streak after the Bulldogs defeated Jefferson 46-6 on Friday.
After starting the season 0-2, Martinsburg (3-2) has rolled through its past three games, winning by a combined score of 187-19. That continued with a 40-point win over the Cougars (0-4).
The Bulldogs scored on their opening possession after Kevin Myers capped off a long drive with a 9-yard touchdown run to put them up 7-0. Near the end of the first quarter, with 1:23 left on the clock, Cody Paige connected on a 35-yard field goal to extend the lead to 10-0.
Martinsburg extended its lead to 25-0 by the halftime with two more touchdowns. With 6:52 left in the half, Terrell Cofield scored on a 5-yard run, and Bria
