The University of Tulsa's nursing and kinesiology programs are returning to the university's main campus after 10 years in the former Blue Cross Blue Shield Building at 1215 S. Boulder.

The move is part of a financial restructuring that will also include sale of the Henneke Building at 1204 S. Harvard Ave., and the introduction of new online programs.

TU "is actively working to respond to changes in the higher education landscape and fiscal downturns that have affected the university directly," an email from the university said.

The School of Nursing and Department of Kinesiology, which have occupied five floors of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Building since 2015, will move into Chapman Hall on TU's main campus east of downtown.
