FARGO — University of Jamestown head coach Brian Mistro said his football team had a moment of clarity Saturday, following a victory at Concordia-St. Paul.
The Jimmies earned their first league football victory since officially joining the NSIC in the summer.
“It was kind of like a ‘Yep, we belong,’" said Mistro, a former Concordia Cobbers assistant coach. "We’re not there yet, but we’re not also getting goose-egged by 75 every game. We belong here. ... Mentally, that’s such a huge hurdle to get over right away.”
