BARNESVILLE, Ga. — A Monticello teenager has been arrested and charged with murder for his role in a fatal September shooting in Lamar County , according to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The press release says Arrington Bostic, 17, has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a crime for shooting and killing Deondrey Florence, 41, on in Barnesville.

The GBI says the Barnesville Police Department responded to a 911 call about shots fired around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. When officers arrived to the address on the 200 block of Southland Drive, they found Florence dead on the scene, according to the release.

On Sept. 25, the GBI requested the public's assistance locating Bostic, according to prior 13WMAZ
