The thing that matters the most about the Raptors triumvirate of Scottie Barnes, Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett is not who passes best, who shoots more or who becomes “The Man” in what’s seen as the team’s Big Three.
What matters, what is going to determine whether this iteration of the roster meshes and turns the team around the corner to contention, who will ultimately drive this group is how they buy into the whole, how they put away individual stats in search of team success.
Barrett sees it as no big challenge because there really needs to be only one common goal.
“We’re all unselfish players, and we’re trying to win,” Barrett said as the 2025-26 officially began with media day on Monday.
“That’s really what it is. If you’re trying to win, you’ll do the right things.”
