The U.S.S. Enterprise's next voyage will be closer to walking speed than warp speed.
The iconic starship will be featured as part of a Rose Parade float in celebration of the "Star Trek" franchise's 60th anniversary. In an Instagram post Monday , the design was revealed for the "Space for Everybody" float with the Enterprise and its bridge, planets from the sci-fi franchise and a nod to Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park, a location north of Los Angeles used for several "Star Trek" shoots.
