Fourth Wing is ready to soar.

After all, author Rebecca Yarros recently revealed a major addition to the television crew: Meredith Averill will breathe life into the romantasy novel adaptation as the showrunner for the Amazon Prime series .

Yarros couldn't help but gush over the latest update, writing on Instagram Sept. 24, "Welcome to the team, Meredith Averill!"

"Guys, I love everything this wonderful woman has worked on and I'm so excited to have her joining us," she continued. "What an incredible ensemble of talent we have gathered around the show! Here we go!"
