'We thought, let's try it again ... because customers are asking for it'
CTrain passengers in Bridgeland will soon be able to buy a snack, drink or travel essentials right before boarding the train.
Starting this fall, Calgary Transit will be recommissioning some of its old kiosks at LRT stations, in a bid to make CTrain stops more welcoming and convenient for passengers and to help generate revenue.

The kiosks, which operated at several of the city’s older CTrain stations from the 1980s onward, used to sell everything from transit passes to newspapers, as well as food concessions.
But the mini-businesses were boarded up in the early 2000s, after they had become financially unsustainable.
