PACIFIC PALISADES, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Pacific Palisades community is celebrating a major milestone in its road back to recovery.
A medical and commercial building on Monument Street that was gutted by the Palisades Fire is back open.
The owners hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Sunday afternoon.
It was a bittersweet moment because while the business is back, they lost their family home in the fire.
Half of the twelve offices inside the building have already been leased. Some of the new tenants include a dental office, an insurance agency and construction company.
