WOWT CrimeBELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - The Bellevue Police Department is advising residents keep an eye on their pets amid reports of dead cats in the city.
A social media post from BPD says there have been reports of dead cats being found in the southwest Bellevue area.
BPD says they are working in tandem with the Nebraska Humane Society to investigate the incidents and possibly determine the causes of death.
Residents are advised to remain vigilant and take precautions when allowing pets outside, as predators and other environmental factors may pose a risk to local pets.
