MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is investigating a double homicide in Parkway Village on Monday.

MPD says two men were killed after shots rang out at Watson and Ashwood Streets, located in a subdivision off Getwell Road.

Officers received the call at 2:40 p.m. Police say the two victims were dead on arrival.

MPD reports that preliminary information suggests that a fight occurred prior to the gunfire.
